The first Irish landscape to measurably validate operating beyond carbon neutral.
In the 1990s Brook Hall became Ireland’s first short rotation coppice willow commercial farm, producing sustainable biomass fuel for heating local consumers. Our research and development continues in carbon reduction and soil health improvement as a showcase of what can be achieved.

Brook Hall Estate & Gardens has led the way in developing and implementing sustainable solutions for energy, water quality, and carbon measuring, monitoring, and managing. We are the founding member of ARCZero, an European Innovation Project in Agriculture to help drive the sector towards Net Zero.
